 Shalersville Township is established as an Ohio Enterprise Zones.
Enterprise Zones enable the township trustees to negotiate real and personal property taxes
for a ten-year period. Currently, maximum abatements in Shalersville are
60% for 10
years. Amount and length of the abatement are based on real and personal property
taxes generated, number of jobs created, and total payroll over the length of the
abatement.
