Geauga Lake Park & Wild Water Kingdom

2004: Cedar Fair L.P., owner of Cedar Point (located in Sandusky, Ohio), announces its purchase of the Six Flags Worlds of Adventure property. The park changes its name back to the familiar Geauga Lake and begins the process of re-introducing a family amusement park back to the community.

2005: Geauga Lake Announces $26 Million Expansion
- In 2005, Geauga Lake Family Amusement Park begins a multi-million dollar expansion featuring Wildwater Kingdom, a 20-acre waterpark. Guests can enjoy hundreds of acres packed with waterpark fun, Snoopy and the PEANUTS gang, 10 roller coasters, two children's areas and much more!
